I cannot thank them enough for their loving care and concern for Franzie, my sweet Mini Schnauzer. There is a little bit of a wait, but it's because they take the time to be thorough. Dr. Guishard is so patient and kind-- a wonderful vet.

They were extremely helpful when we had an urgent medical issue that needed attention. The veterinarian was very gentle and clearly cared about our baby, and took the time to explain everything so we knew exactly what was going on and what we should expect. A full recovery was made and they definitely had a hand in both that and restoring our peace of mind.

Staff was friendly and the vet was very understanding and kind. My dog was sick and had to be put to sleep. They did a excellent job. I also had her cremated, which they handle with a wonderful and caring place. I highly recommend them. They are open 24 hours a day.

We love Union City Veterinary Medical Center. Our dog, Otis, has been a client since he was a baby. It's been 10 years since his first visit, and we are still pleased with the quality service and family-friendly atmosphere. Otis loves going for regular visits and boarding, and we love knowing Otis is in good hands. We recommend this place to anyone who loves their dog as much as we love ours.

Edited to reflect most recent visit. The original is below. We came before emergency hours but due to a patient getting loose and them needing to get said patient we weren't seen until after emergency hours started and thus were charged more. Then they used a BLOOD STAINED, DIRTY instrument to pull a sample of my cat's fur. It didn't touch the wound or the rest of her hair but what if it had? Are they going to treat her for the infection they would have caused, or are they going to make me pay for that too and infect her again because they're too lazy to even WASH their instruments? There were bandage scissors out, the blades not shut together, on a bottom shelf where any animal could have reached them and their sharps disposal container was in the same spot, with the opening right there for any curious paws. Bloody bandages were in an open trash bin, no lid, nothing. They nearly forgot to check her temperature at all and it was NOT a rectal thermometer and should have been replaced long ago due to the discoloration anyway. I don't know what happened since the last time I came here but it was NOT GOOD. Stay far away or be prepared to sue over violations of your trust and your pet's health.

Have taken my pets here for many years. They take great care of my pets and are like family.
